Advertising/Ads

This photo is an advertisement made for Seven Up.  It is a very interesting ad since it is promoting that Seven Up is good for younger kids like toddlers and new born.

Journalism/News

The second photo is showing that a person is either being interviewed or is a news broadcaster.  It appears there in front of some type building that could be an office or some type of school.  This photo falls into the category of being news/journalism since a story is about to be told or found.

Portraiture

The third photo is a portrait photo of the actor known as William Dafoe.  The picture was either taken in a black and white film or was edited to black and white.  The portrait shows a lot of detail on his face from the wrinkles in his skin to the iris in his eyes.

Distaster

The fourth image is showing the works of a tornado destroying a town.  There are destroyed buildings everywhere are on the ground with pieces of trees mixed with in.  The tornado also appears to be going some where else in the distance and we are not for sure if there are other buildings or people in that area.  This photo would be put into the disaster category since the tornada destroyed many people’s homes and could be destroying even more in the background.

Famous World Event

The fifth photo is a picture of the first moon landing.  This would be considered a famous world event since landing on the moon was a big achievement for the U.S and other space companies.

Wedding

This photo shows couple that just got married.  It appears they are in some sort of fancy restaurant with everyone preparing to have food.  They could be walking to table to sit down.  This photo would be put in the wedding category.

Fashion

The 7^th photo is showing these two people in an 80s fashion type of clothing.  The clothing they are where can be I grabbing since there are so many bright and contrasted colours that could catch the eye of anyone.  This image would be put in the fashion category since they are showing off their clothes that could be used for fashion.

Nature

This image captures the mountains in the background with a river flowing through the area.  It is a very beautiful photo of nature with all the elements playing a big role in connecting the photo.  The river with its nice dark and bay blue colours with the grass and trees having this nice green colour with the mountains having a light and deep grey with white snow on top.  This image captures the essence of nature and should be in the nature category.

Automotive

The 9^th photo is of a sports car driving down a race track road at high speeds.  The car being orange can catch people eyes since it is a unique colour to have for a sports car.  This image is part of the automotive category since it is showing off a sports car.

Aerial

The 10th photo is taken from an aerial view and is showing off a light house with two other small houses next to it.  It looks like someone could be living here since there is a fence around both house and the light house.  This image also appears to have three main objects making it more pleasing to the eye to see.  This photo is part of the aerial category since it is taken from an aerial view.
